Perception
When you put the mouse over the picture, you can see that the focus of the picture have shifted from the flower to the background. And suddenly, all the blurry things in the background becomes clear and there are a lot to the picture than just a Sun Flower. The sunflower is there, and the background is also there, but our mind, just like the camera, can only focus on one item most of the time. And what we see is just half the truth. Since we believe what we see, we can form opinions not based on the entire truth. When one express a certain opinion, it is that person?s view, and he form that opinion because of what he sees or what he perceive things to be. He is not more Right nor Wrong than any other person, cause each and every person has their own perception and that perception is based on half truth. It is very difficult to step back and see the entire picture. Why I say it is difficult, it is because I myself could not bring myself to do this all the time. And I believe many will agree that our mind has somehow been tuned to jump to conclusions based on the facts that we see, and our mind has not the capacity to just acknowledge the fact and move on. We often form opinions based on the little fact that we have and ultimately we doom ourselves to be ignorant and self centered. And this is just the right recipe for War and Sufferings. Can War and Sufferings be one day eradicated from the world? Yes, eventually, either be, there are no more humans left or our future generations are able to have the mental capacity to perceive the Ultimate Picture. We can actually start today, by installing into the education system, an education program on expanding the Childs capacity to make an informed decision. —–
